What time should the face painting begin?

This question comes up alot when planning face painting for any party or event. I can tell you the longer they have their faces on at the party, the more fun will be had. Will your guests be on time for your party or will you have some latecomers. We want to make sure that everyone gets a (face and balloon) If you think some will come late – then plan backwords from when the cake is served if it’s a birthday party. If it’s an event then you can put on the advertisement what time the face painting will be offered. Some people like to give everyone from 1/2 to one hour to arrive and then start the painting. I personally love having those few fancy faces painted and walking around to greet guests as they arrive. This really creates excitement. Either way, get out your camera – your event will be a memorable one!

Face Painting – The Perfect Rainy Day Activity

Is the weather for your day less than perfect? After careful planning and gathering the troops for a party, all is not lost. Move that party inside! We can fit into a cozy small space and it’s amazing how entertained they can be looking at their beautiful fancy faces and enjoying their colorful balloon art. What could be better for a rainy day activity? Don’t feel too shy to call us at the last minute. We can sometimes come out on a moment’s notice. The most grateful party Mom is one whose party day is saved by our indoor activity. Sure we all hope for a beautiful sunny day for our events but if the weather is what it is,  then kids still need something fun to do. Once the weather improves,  they may even forget to go outside.

Picture taking at your party.

Face painting looks the most beautiful and freshest right after we are done painting. Smart moms know to have someone standing by to take pictures of their little partygoers right after we are finished transforming them. Some party ideas that I have seen work beautifully – print out pictures, have kids decorate frames and then send this home as a party favor at the end of the party. One of my favorites is to paint matching parent and kid themes and then take the photo. Also – what parent wouldn’t love this picture sent to them with their thank you note. Group pictures are always fun – And Fabulous Faces knows that our painted faces make great publicity shots for schools and organizations – also community events. One of our faces was on the front page of the Philadelphia Inquirer on the Fourth of July along with our town’s local events.

Family Parties – Bringing People Together

There is nothing more fun than a family 1st birthday party. The little tyke with a birthday hat blowing out a candle with no idea of what is happening except that all eyes are on him and his job is to be the center of attention. The real story to me is a family creating memories for their kids. I love seeing older and younger cousins together and their interactions. From where I sit – it’s the best seat in the house! Thanks to all of you who had parties this last weekend. I really had wonderful time!

Caricatures Anyone?

Wow – we are so lucky that one of our Fabulous Artists also does Caricatures. She was the primary Caricature Artist at Dorney Park for four years as well as a face painter there. Everyone would love to have this – adults and chiildren or together on the same page. Black and white or in color these Caricatures are truly a Fabulous addition to what we can offer. Samples are available upon request.

Balloon Twisting – Colorful fun

What a great addition to any party or event – balloon twisting – bring out these colorful shapes and watch everyone get happy. Kids love to watch balloon twisting and ask for their favorite colors and animals, fancy hats, scepters or swords. Why? Who knows. But I’ve watched it over the years and now I rarely face paint at a party that doesn’t include balloon twisting. Ask us for a nominal fee about adding colorful Balloons to your party. Current favorite – Smiley Face Balloon Hat!
